Early Career Teachers Conference

SASTA will be holding its biannual Early Career Teachers Conference on Monday 27 September 2010 at Thebarton Senior College.

The conference is designed to provide teachers new to the profession with information, skills, strategies and resources that will assist them in their classroom practice. Student teachers are also welcome.

Specialised workshops for both Primary and Secondary will target pedagogies, ICT, classroom management, sourcing resources, excursions and programs that complement classroom practice as well as 'how to sessions'. With a panel to address any issues a the end of the day. Information about mentoring programs will also be available.

It is our aim that all participants will leave with a toolkit, which will better facilitate their teaching. We look forward to seeing you there. See July 2010 SASTA newsletter for further information.
