Introduction This material reports the outcomes of an Australian School Innovation in Science, Technology and Mathematics (ASISTM) project entitled ‘At Distance Control’. The project explored the concept of client schools having access via the Internet to data loggers, robots and an astronomical telescope held by 3 ‘Host’ Schools. All three have their peculiarities, but all three were found to be possible. The project is completed, but the Host Schools are keen to continue the exploration. Contact information is provided if you’d like to experiment. This report is available as a hard copy with attached (CD) electronic version from the South Australian Science Teachers Association (SASTA: tel 08 83466922) at no cost other than P&H while the initial stocks last, and at cost recovery thereafter. It can also be accessed/downloaded from the SASTA website at no cost (http://www.sasta.asn.au). Hopefully you will find this as exciting as we did. Ian Maynard
