Context: Meadows Primary School is set in a semi-rural area with many parents involved in agricultural work and other commuting to the city. The Year 5/6 class was complex as it comprised of many students with social problems with three students with special need ranging from significant disability to SHIP ability.

Key Idea: Students pose questions to investigate ways in which physical and chemical processes can be altered in order to achieve desirable outcomes.
