ASSESSMENT

There were a variety of assessments.

1. The student's life cycle observation sheets.

2. Anecdotal notes by me from conferences, sharing times and observation of students' working.

3. A final product analysis:

Students were asked to do a PowerPoint presentation about silkworms. They knew these were to be shared with their Year 2/3 buddies.

The purpose therefore, was to teach the younger students about silkworms.

4. A checklist for the outcomes:

NAME:

Can think of different questions and how these can be answered.

Can share thinking processes

Can present particular points of view.

Can effectively communicate ideas and information.
