ASSESSMENT

There were a variety of assessments.

1. The student's life cycle observation sheets.

2. Anecdotal notes by me from conferences, sharing times and observation of students' working.

3. A final product analysis:

Students were asked to do a PowerPoint presentation about silkworms. They knew these were to be shared with their Year 2/3 buddies.

The purpose therefore, was to teach the younger students about silkworms.

4. A checklist for the outcomes:

NAME:	Can think of different questions and how these can be answered.	Can share thinking processes	Can present particular points of view.	Can effectively communicate ideas and information.	Can research, plan, organise and share findings.
