Geoscience Outreach Officer (0.5)

The Geoscience Pathways Project invites expressions of interest in the newly created position of Geoscience Outreach Officer. This is a part-time (0.5) position over a one-year contract from February to December 2022, under teacher pay and conditions.

The Geoscience Pathways Project (GPP) is a not-for-profit incorporated body of teachers, geoscientists and academics that has actively supported geoscience education in SA schools since 2005.

The work of the Geoscience Outreach Officer will focus on fostering, promoting and actively supporting the uptake of SACE Earth and Environmental Science (EES) in SA schools.  The aim of the Officer’s work will be to significantly increase the number of schools and teachers that offer SACE EES in SA.

The Geoscience Officer will be responsible to, and report to the management committee of the GPP.

Expressions of Interest should be no more than 500 words and must address the job and person specifications. EOI's must be received by the Secretary no later than 5pm on Wednesday 8th December 2021. 

Woodville High School

Woodville High School is seeking a qualified and preferentially experienced Physics teacher for 2022. 

A full-time contract position will include two Stage 1 Physics classes and one Stage 2 Physics class, plus two middle school classes of either Maths or Science. A part-time position could be negotiated.
