The Mathematical Association of South Australia (MASA) and the South Australian Science Teachers Association (SASTA) would like to invite your involvement in the upcoming 2023 STEM Conference for year 6-11 teachers on Friday 1 December 2023 at Flinders University

Following on from the success of the 2022 Conference, we are expecting to attract around 125 registrants and 30 presenters from year 6 - 11 from each of the three sectors (the Department for Education, Catholic Education SA and Independent Schools).

The 2023 STEM Conference will bring together science, mathematics, design and technologies and digital technologies teachers, classroom teachers, leaders in education and businesses who are interested in sharing and exploring teaching methods, tools, resources, and related activities for implementing Maths, Science & STEM education into our schools and communities.

The 2023 theme ‘STEM Connections’ supports the connection between maths and science, industry connections with STEM learning in schools, the convergence of industry and technology, the emergence of AI and other new technologies and their connection to STEM learning, as well as ongoing partnerships between STEM professionals and teachers in school and more. This provides a great opportunity for our delegates to speak with sponsors & exhibitors about the best way to support these STEM Connections.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received in writing to SASTA before the closing date (2 November) will receive a refund less an administrative charge of $50. Cancellations received after the closing date will not be eligible for a refund.

Gold Sponsor 

This sponsorship package is an excellent opportunity to prominently display your organisation in a variety of ways throughout the conference.

Each gold sponsor package will feature:

• Exhibition stand including trestle table with cloth and chair
• Choice of prominent exhibition stand location on floorplan
• Choice of ONE of the following options:
  Keynote Presentation sponsor - 2 minute speaking spot (either before the keynote address or morning tea) (ONLY 2 AVAILABLE)
  Morning tea and lunch sponsor - sponsor logo included on all catering tables and displayed on screens in catering area (1 available)
  Branded material sponsor - promotional item provided by sponsor with company logo (1 available)
  Happy Hour sponsor - sponsor logo included on catering tables, 2 minute speaking spot and opportunity to host a game or activity for attendees (1 available)
• Banner on stage during keynote address
• Your organisation’s logo on the conference website including a link to your website
• Company name and logo listed in conference program
• Company name listed in the exhibitor passport encouraging delegates to visit your display
• Opportunity to donate and present a prize during the happy hour draw
• Two complimentary exhibitor registrations to the conference including catering for morning tea, lunch and happy hour during the conference

Trade Display

A trade display is an excellent way to reach delegates and potential customers both in person at the conference and providing information about your product / services that they can take back to school with them.

Each trade display package will feature:

• Exhibition space including display board and trestle table with cloth and chair
• Your organisation’s logo on the conference website including a link to your website
• Company name and logo listed in conference program
• Company name listed in the exhibitor passport encouraging delegates to visit your display
• Opportunity to donate a prize to be presented during the happy hour draw
• One complimentary exhibitor registration to the conference including catering for morning tea, lunch and happy hour during the conference
• Insert included in the delegate satchel (electronic only - see satchel inserts) to be provided by Friday 10 November (provided by sponsor).

Satchel Insert Only

A satchel insert is an excellent way to reach delegates by providing an opportunity for each delegate to sample your product or learn more about your service. All material to be included needs to be provided to SASTA by Friday 10 November.

Benefits include:

• Electronic ‘insert’ (provided by sponsor)
  In line with sustainable practices, SASTA & MASA aim to reduce the amount of paper distributed at conferences. To this end, an email including your logo will be sent directly to all delegates that links to valuable resources from the conference – your catalogue, sample files or other electronic documents
• Your company name in the conference program
• Your name displayed on the Conference website
