Description
The purpose of this workshop is to support teachers of the Research Project by providing a step-by-step approach to the process. We will explore how you can guide students through the processes of; choosing a topic, addressing the capabilities and ethics, selecting research processes, conducting research, presenting the research outcome, and evaluating the research. The presenter will highlight specific examples and provide participants with helpful resources.
All aspects of the workshop are designed to meet the Subject Outline requirements of the SACE Stage 2 Research Project course.
Teachers will receive a certificate of attendance that details the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers covered in the workshop.
Presenter: Anne Glamuzina
Anne is a Year 12 subject teacher and has taught the SACE Stage 2 Research Project since its inception in 2011. Anne has been recognised for being able to motivate students of all abilities to reach their potential in this subject and is now a mentor for teachers new to teaching the Research Project. Anne will be sharing materials that she has collected and developed materials to help students understand the process of research and present a research outcome that plays to their strengths.
