Looking for new ways to bring nature education to life? Or perhaps you're after some fresh resources for your classroom?

Green Adelaide’s Loan Library offers a fantastic range of free resources for schools, including books, games, posters, DVDs and hands-on equipment such as nest box cameras, water quality testing kits and thermal imaging cameras.

Resources can be borrowed for up to four weeks and cover a wide variety of topics, from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures to biodiversity, sustainability, youth leadership and more.

Borrowing is free of charge provided the resources are returned in good order. The Loan Library is available to schools within Adelaide’s 17 metropolitan councils. You can complete a Green Adelaide Loan Library Request Form here and browse Professional Development opportunities here.

Schools outside the metropolitan area may be able to access similar resources through their local Landscape Board. The Murraylands and Riverlands Education Program Information pack contains information about the loan catalogue and teacher resources, amongst other things. Equipment and resources can also be borrowed from the Kangaroo Island Landscape Board.
