Reception - Year 2
1st Prize
Kelsea McGuinness, Year 1
Baby Andamooka Plesiosaur (Karkaroo)
I did a picture about a super cool sea dragon that turned into rainbow opal it lived when dinosaurs were around and was called "The Andamooka Swimmer". It ate fish with its pointy teeth and was as long as a bus.

Wonambi
Wonambi was on a log and watching a wallaby coming to drink at the waterhole. If the wallaby isn't quick enough he will be the Wonambi's next lunch.

The Underwater Giants of South Australia
My poster shows a giant Kronosaurus swimming in the ocean with bright fish, ammonites, and even a baby Ichthyosaur with its parent. There are shells and plants on the seafloor, and a big sunbeam shines on the Kronosaurus.

Twilight Predators
These wild predators are making their way through the bush in the twilight hours, looking for its prey.

Plesiosaur
My artwork, created with nails, yarn, a chopping board, and oil pastels, depicts a dramatic prehistoric scene. In the top-left corner, a volcano erupts, filling the sky with purple and pink volcanic ash. The powerful eruption sends massive waves crashing

Platypterygius australis
The Platypterygius australis was a carnivore that ate all sort os small fish, turtles and even sea birds that like a dolphin was air breathing and gave birth to live young.

It lived in open underwater caves. The first fossil was opalised.

Pliosaur in pursuit!
This is from a dramatic moment in prehistorical SA as a Pliosaur bursts from the ocean to pursue a soaring Pterosaur.

This artwork is a prehistoric animal called the diprotodon, also known as a giant wombat. The reason I made this was for my brother loves prehistoric animals this one included, so he was my inspiration. I also love art and got given the idea to enter this
