STEM Birds Australian Coding Competition 2027

STEM Birds are excited to launch the STEM Birds Australian Coding Competition 2027, a FREE nationwide competition for students aged 5–15 years.

This year’s theme is: Code, Create & Protect – Australian Endangered Species

The competition encourages students to use coding, animation, game design, 3D design, and programming to raise awareness about Australia’s endangered wildlife and the importance of environmental conservation.

Participants can choose from Scratch Jr Animation, Scratch Coding, Tinkercad 3D Design or Python Turtle Programming.

Open to students aged 5–15 years
Exciting prizes for winners and runners-up
Participation certificates for all entrants
Project Submission Deadline: 15 January 2027
Winners Announcement: 15 February 2027
