Interest in forensic psychology has surged in recent years, primarily due to such television programs as “Criminal Minds”, “Bull”, and Netflix mini-documentaries such as ‘The Making of a Murderer”. Whilst such pop-media does often slightly mis-represent the true role of Forensic Psychologists – it has definitely left our students eager to learn more about this interesting profession. This workshop will provide a potential content rundown for the New Stage 1 Psychology Option Topic: Forensic Psychology. Complete with activity and excursion inspo, ideas for teaching, and task examples, this workshop is a must for anyone planning to trial this topic in 2021 and beyond.
