Inspire STEM Education Installer

The Inspire STEM Education Installer will deliver and install the NewSpec Learning Lab into schools. They will have the opportunity to inspire young children into the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Some specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Based on a bookings sheet provided by NewSpec, ensuring the Learning Lab (which includes the TM4000 Desktop Scanning Electron Microscope) is installed at the location listed on the booking sheet on the correct date and time.

- Carrying out basic maintenance on the TM4000 in between each customer visit, for example replacing the filament.

- Performing some manual handling of the equipment to load and unload the equipment into the car and to set up/pack up the equipment at the schools.

- Maintaining the kit of resources that travels with the Learning Lab to ensure our customers have everything they need for a positive Learning Lab experience.

- Carrying out a 30-minute teacher training reminder at each installation.

- Supporting teachers over the telephone or in person (if required and possible) while the Learning Lab is at their school.

- Acting as a role model for the program and an ambassador for STEM.
