Now in its fifth year, Early STEM Education Awards are the only awards in Australia dedicated to recognising STEM excellence in early childhood education. They shine a spotlight on educators and services that embed curiosity, investigation and STEM thinking into early learning environments.
How nominations work:
- Services and classrooms nominate by co-developing an inquiry-based STEM project with children
- Individual educators are nominated by peers in recognition of their passion and commitment to STEM education
Award recipients receive national recognition, take part in an in-person presentation with parliamentarians, and share over $33,000 in prizes.
Educators and services with a strong interest in STEM are encouraged to apply or nominate colleagues to help shine a light on high-quality early STEM practice.
