Department for Education STEM Scholarship Applications Now Open

Applications are now open for the Department for Education's STEM Scholarships.

This scholarship will support high school students from under-represented groups to pursue SACE level advanced science, technology and mathematics subjects. 

To apply for this scholarship you must be:

• enrolled in a government school
• the holder of a school card or an Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander student
• committed to completing at least one of the following subjects: specialist mathematics, maths methods, chemistry, physics or digital technologies
• demonstrating high potential in STEM subjects (C minimum in year 10 maths and science
• willing to participate in mentoring programs, and other activities that support career awareness in STEM and dispositions for STEM learning

Scholarships of up to $10,000 can be used to cover the cost
of tutors, laptops, excursions or anything that directly supports you to achieve in your chosen STEM subjects.
