Flinders Degree Apprenticeships - Earn While You Learn

Applications for Flinders University’s degree apprenticeship program in engineering and cybersecurity are now open, with applications closing on Monday 28 September.

In 2027 Flinders University – along with key industry partners - is offering degree apprenticeships in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering and Cybersecurity. Flinders is proud that this innovative new program allows students to combine university study with paid employment, and makes the university experience accessible to a broader range of students.

Degree apprenticeships allow students to complete a globally recognised university degree while earning a salary and gaining practical experience with an industry partner throughout their studies.

Students spend 2-3 days a week at university and the remaining days in active employment, putting their learning into practice from day one. This hands-on pathway combines classroom learning with real-world experience in the defence industry, advanced manufacturing or infrastructure sectors.
