Inspiring Learning Through Nature
The Nature Education Centre (NEC) has a long and valued relationship with SASTA, having originally been established as a SASTA project in 1982. Today, both organisations continue to share a common goal: supporting science education and fostering an appreciation of the natural environment among South Australian students.
As a not-for-profit organisation, the Nature Education Centre provides unique resources and learning experiences that help bring science to life in classrooms across the state.

SASTA and the Nature Education Centre have maintained a close affiliation for more than 40 years, working together to support teachers and inspire students through engaging, hands-on science learning opportunities.
While SASTA provides professional learning, student competitions and curriculum resources, the Nature Education Centre complements this work through its extensive collection of educational resources and expertise in natural history and environmental education.
